This program is offered to
those who want to learn a new language fluently and accurately very
quickly. The course is open to all students but it is especially
designed for Foreign Students. Classes are given 5 hours daily
from Monday to Friday for 6 months. Homework is assigned every day
and students are able to see their progress through corrections of their
assignments in class. |

A special sector for English/French has been programmed
for students who wish to attend a semi-intensive class.
This course of 6 hours per week is offered in the
evening. Mon-Wed-Fri 6-8 P.M. Small groups of 8-12
students are scheduled throughout the year. These
courses are 4 to 24 weeks in duration and a student may
begin his/her classes at any given time. |

The private class is constituted in the same manner as
the group instruction with the sole difference that the
student is individually instructed. It may also be taken
intensively. The student has the advantage of preparing
a schedule that is most convenient for him/her
(providing that the instructor is available at the

Test of
English for International Communication |
|
A
worldwide professional standard English test. It is used for
placement, selection and monitoring learning levels and training
programs. The test is made available through The Chauncey Group
International Ltd. and their approved TOEIC representatives. The
Chauncey Group is a global company that provides human resource
consulting, assessment and delivery services to individuals and
organizations in the professions and the workplace. The TOEIC
test is an English language proficiency test for people whose
native language is not English. It is acknowledged worldwide as
a highly reliable and valid means of assessing general English
proficiency. The TOEIC test measures the extent to which
employees can communicate in
English on the job. The test
does not require specialized
knowledge or vocabulary. It
is designed specifically to
test abilities in English as
it is used in real-life
situations in business and
government. It does not
require specialized
knowledge or vocabulary
beyond that of a person who
uses English in everyday
work activities. |

Students are tutored for
entrance in Canadian Universities such as; McGill
Concordia and others. |

This course prepares students
for the TOEFL test for international students planning to
study in Canada, United States or other in countries where
English is the primary language of instruction. The TOEFL
test is made available worldwide to all persons, regardless
of age, gender, race, nationality, religion, or political
views. The Institutional Testing Program is offered
primarily to assist institutions in placing students in
English courses at the appropriate level of difficulty or to
determine whether additional work in English is necessary
before an individual can undertake studies at an institution
where English is the medium of instruction. The paper-based
test has three sections: Listening Comprehension, Structure
and Written Expression, and Reading Comprehension. There are
at least 140 questions on the test. The number of test
questions and the amount of time needed to take the TOEFL
test may vary from one test
administrator to another. |
